As I find this in my mailbox this morning I find myself a little less
sore and a little more able to face the true beginning of our efforts.
This is a time of healing for me and probably for many others, but it is
also a time to re-group, reguvenate and re-commit for the long haul.  

WE WILL NOT BE DENIED A TRUE DEMOCRACY!! THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST BATTLE!!
WE WILL WIN THE WAR!!

very difficult. We will have to sacrifice our time, our money, our fears
to our hopes. Are you up to it?! Please say YES! Let's all say yes, and
get ready to fight the good fight that lies directly ahead of us. 

We do need to consolidate our gains. That means to organize our locals,
keep our people with us, do our homework before taking off on ideas that
just spring to mind without throughly thinking all the options,
consequences, winnability factors,  refining of our processes of inner
and inter-party workings. We've much to do. Don't be faint of heart. Be
brave, be strong, be who you are, Be GREEN! Remember: as Jim Hightower
likes to say: 'IT'S THE AGITATOR THAT GETS THE DIRT OUT!'.

I say let's take a break (if the Dems will let us) then lets get back to
work. In the interim THINK. Think of how to form ourselves into a lean,
clean, political machine capable of doing the work ahead of us in the
most effective ways.
