Concerned citizens and business owners of Boulder and the surrounding area are invited to participate in a protest against chain bookstore Borders Books & Music at 16th and Pearl Streets, this Saturday, November 11, beginning at 10 AM.
The demonstration, sponsored by the Literary Liberation League of Boulder, is scheduled in conjunction with the opening of the downtown store and will continue throughout the day until 2 PM. The League intends for the protest to encourage a boycott against the corporation responsible for driving independent booksellers out of business in towns across the nation.
