Urban Legends is a fairly reliable site in my opinion for checking such things. Personally I was dubious about the original story from the beginning. Sounds too much like other stories I have seen, most of them false, and those guys have learned to be slicker and subtler than that.

 

PLEASE make sure that if you post something, especially an accusation as serious as this, that you are SURE of its accuracy. It absolutely destroys our credibility to throw "racism" or other such charges towards people on the basis of unreliable or even flatly inaccurate facts. I know we all have done it (myself included) so it is not meant as an accusation but as a friendly comment.
