- Subject: [Announce-DAN] International Collective Meeting Wednesday & a story
Hi,
I just wanted to remind everyone that the International Collective of the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center is meeting this Wednesday, December 6 at 7 p.m. at 1520 Euclid. Current campaigns are:
1. World Bank Bonds Boycott in the Boulder City Council
2. Outreach to faith-based organizations on the issue of wealth inequality, globalization and corruption in our political system (campaign finance)
3. Fair Trade Issues & globalization
4. Campaign finance reform
5. Chiapas & Colombia
I'm also putting the issue of the current situtation in Palestine on the agenda and the employment situation of immigrants in the sweatshops of Boulder. .
Hope you can come. I'm also passing on the story below which I received from John Kefalas from Fort Collins. It brought tears to my eyes.
