IF YOU ARE PART OF A STUDENT GROUP--PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR MEMBERS!!!

If you want to get involved on campus...this is the perfect way to meet 
people and get active.  Don't let this pass you by!!!

For the new people on the email list, here is what is going on: All this 
coming week students are going to be working hard to register CU students to 
vote.  Our goal is to register and get 3,000 students to vote.  October 9th 
is the registration deadline so we have till then to get forms turned in.
All work is non-partisan--we do not endorse any candidate or ballot 
issue--everyone's opinions are accepted.

We are coming up to National Voter Registration Week and its time to crack 
down on our efforts.  First of all...I want to thank everyone who has helped 
out already.  We really appreciate all your work so far.

This Sunday night, we all decided to meet up at 6pm at Baby Doe's in the UMC 
and will then head out to chalk and poster the campus.  We will divide the 
campus into sections after a really short meeting and it should all be done 
by 7:30.  The more people that show, the easier, quicker, and funner the 
chalking will be.  Everyone should try and bring 2 friends.

During the week we will also be tabling in various spots to reach more 
students.

Monday 11-3   UMC/Fountain
Tuesday 10:30-2:30   UMC/Baby Doe's
Wed 11-3   Engineering/Outside
Thurs 10:30-2:30   Engineering/Outside
- --RHRC and the various residence hall councils will organize the Dining Hall 
tabling so if you want to help with that, contact them directly.

If anyone wants to have their student group sponsor any additional tabling, 
go ahead...the more exposure and visibility the better!

There will also be DORM STORMS Mon, Tues, Wed during the week of Sept 25th 
and Sun, Mon, Tues the week of October 1st.  Again the more people the 
better.  Everyone will meet at 7pm and go till about 9pm.  This is a lot of 
fun because you get to talk with residents one on one.

The more time you volunteer, the more you will get out of the experience.  
We all have busy schedules so just remember...ANY time you help is 
appreciated:)
