Hello all!

I attempted to reserve the room for the 'campus crusade for Nader' on
October 23 from 6 to 11:30 (Is this enough time? thoughts?). The only snags
I ran into revolved around the band... there are apparently only '2'
locations on campus that are condusive to loud events and they are the Forum
room in the UMC (which I put as our #1 choice), and the Old Main Chapel
(which holds about 100 less people than the Forum room).
So... I pleaded and begged with the people at the office to confirm the room
for me then, BUT... they refused by laughing in my face and calling me a
'flaming maggot.' (Actually they didn't laugh at me or call me that name...
I just like being a big martyr here... so feel sorry for me!)
They should get ahold of me for confirmation by next Wednesday Sept. 27.
AND!
I also talked with the band ('Kindred') a bit more and they seem excited
about playin' this event. I still haven't called their manager yet, so if
y'all know this band and absolutely HATE them, OR, if you have a much better
idea for entertainment... please email me at jh3307@msn.com .
(I know, I know, it sucks... I sold my soul to Bill Gates for THREE YEARS
just to get this crappy computer!!!!!! I feel so exploited.)
