[CUGreens] Voter Registration

The nonpartisan CU Vote 2000 coalition still needs manpower for some
registration efforts this week.  The table by the Engineering Center on
Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30-2:30 is understaffed, if you have time
in this slot, come by and register folks.

Dorm storms will be going on this Monday-Thursday and next Sunday and Monday.
If you're interested in joining the fun, meet in front of Baby Does at 6:45
on any night you're free.

We're trying to get a registration table at the CU/KSU game on Saturday.
If you're free before the game and half time, this will be a great opportunity
to get people who might not otherwise register.

Ask your teachers if you can announce that October 9th is the registration
deadline and that everyone should register to vote.  Bring forms with you or
inform people of the voting box locations around campus -- UMC by Baby Does,
Rec. Center, Norlin, Duane, Engineering Center lobby, Business, Kitteredge,
Williams Villiage, and Regent.  Probably best to announce the UMC and the
building nearest your current one.

Write that information on chalk boards as well.


We need to make plans for our partisan registration efforts on 10/2-10/5.
Where do we want to do it?  The UMC north patio, the Hellems kiosk, inside
the UMC, and outside the Engineering Center will all have been hit, though
we may want to do the Hellems kiosk on Tuesday (I think the nonpartisan table
will be inside that day).

Looks like Bulworth will be in Baker on Thursday the 28th, I need to finalize
details about that right now.
