[CUGreens] 2 big opportunities for our group

Two different people called me this weekend to request our group's
presence at their events.

(1) Laura Luxor is putting on a Voter Awareness Event on Oct 18th at
Chautauqua.  KGNU, KWAB, and some other groups are sponsoring an event to
get people excited about the election.  She wants us to be on a
non-partisan panel about why people need to vote (especially the youth).
The panel will consist of a representative from 4 or 5 parties.

I thought that maybe Damon (campus outreach dude) might work well here but
if anyone else is interested, rock on.

(2) Ann (an RA from the quad) is having a partisan panel discussion at 7pm
in Cockerell Lounge on October 3rd.  She wants a member of our group to be
able to speak to our presidential and congressional candidates and what
our party stands for.  It won't be necessarily a debate but multiple
parties will be represented and each will be trying to convince the
audience that their candidates deserve their votes.  Anyone interested?

We can talk more about both of these at Wed. night meeting (6:30pm in
Hellems 255).
