[CUGreens] Tabling and chalking, etc.

I was wondering if someone could type up and email the sign-up sheet for
tabling next week. I need to either give the lit to the first tabler or
show up at 10 AM myself and drop it off (actually, Monday I have to be
somewhere at 10 AM, so I would have to drop it off about 9:50 AM).

(Do we have the table reserved?)

Also, if any of you want to help out with the Barbara Ehrenreich event
(which SGPC is co-sponsoring), we really need help with our chalking
effort, which will be Monday Oct. 9th- we will meet at 7 PM in the UMC in
front of Baby Does.

Below is the text of the flyer

Down and out in Post-Welfare America
A Talk by Barbara Ehrenreich

Barbara Ehrenreich is an Honorary Chair of the Democratic Socialists of
America, used to have a weekly column in Time magazine, and has written
several books including: "The Snarling Citizen," "The Worst Years of Our
Lives: Irreverent Notes From a Decade of Greed," "Blood Rites: Origins and
History of the Passions of War," "Fear of Falling: The Inner Life of the
Middle Class." She recently did a month long "experiment" in which she
attempted to live the life of an unskilled worker. .
"...low-wage work actually invovles more hardship and deprivation than
life at the mercy of the welfare state. In the coming months and years,
economic conditions for the working poor are bound to worsen, even without
the almost inevitable recession. As mentioned earlier, the influx of
former welfare recipients into the low-skilled workforce will have a
depressing effect on both wages and the number of jobs available."
