[CUGreens] Minutes for October 4th

On october 4th.....
we discussed - 
1) we decided on a "clipboarding" schedule for the Forthofer/Nader
rallies.  This will be:
	10/10
12-1: Cathy, Pat, Tom, Andrew and Miriam
	10/11
1-230: Joe and Catherine (plus Cyrus and Becci until 2)
 
On the subject of the rallies, we also discussed having ...Fairy
cheerleaders :), Nancy Harvey, Damon Haley, and Ira Chernus speak at
one/both
 
we also decided that Tom will MC the Forthofer rally, and Trevor will do
the Nader Rally.

2) Andrew was very adameent about having MORE letters to the editor! he
suggested:
	-we need to answer Gore's recent "populist" spin on things with
facts about Gore/ Nader
	-we also need to address Nader getting kicked out of the debate
Hall

He suggested that any letter you write should be sent to *all* major area
newspapers (daily, weekly, Camera, post and Newsa) ... Lets create our OWN
media!

3) we briefly discused leafletting - details as the elections get closer!
4)New Committee!! - Cyrus and Miriam are going to decipher the various
initiatives, etc to come up with "Green Spins" on the issues to pass out


 Meeting Wed will now be at 6:00, not 6:30 due to Ehrenreich thing
(probably - there is also a protest that we might want to be involved with
in Denver that night -- andrew will email y'all about that later)
