[CUGreens] Get Out The Vote events

Some late breaking events...

Ralph Nader will be in Colorado on Thursday at the Paramount Theater in
downtown Denver (1621 Glenarm Pl.) at 8pm.  Admission is $5 and only available
at the Paramount the evening of the event.

Nader's last super rally, 11/5 in D.C., will be simulcast via satellite to
colleges across the country.  We'll be showing it in Humanities 1B50.  The
event starts at 11am our time, but Ralph probably won't speak until about 1pm
our time.  We need to publicize this real quick -- I should have posters pretty
soon.

Jim Hightower will be on campus on 11/5.  We're still hammering out a time and
location.  More information when I have it.

If you're interested in assisting the Get Out The Vote tabling, phone calling,
and door knocking, contact Ginger Cassady at gcassady@mailcity.com (I got this
address wrong in my last message, so if you haven't heard back, it's my
fault.)

We had a very low turnout for chalking last night, so we did a little by the
UMC and most of the classrooms in Hellems.  Chalk your classrooms -- I
recommend the slogan "Do you agree with Ralph?"  Include the www.votenader.com
too.

If possible, please come to the meeting this Wednesday at 6:30 in Hellems 255.
