Subject: [N30] Legal Observer Trainings Monday

With the police rattling their swords it's clear there needs to be many
trained observers. During many demonstrations, the presence of trained
observers has helped to diffuse tense confrontations and diffuse
violence.  Our observers have also helped some wrongly arrested people
in court.

National Lawyers Guild will be holding two trainings for legal observers
to prepare for the WTO anniversary.

One will be at UW Law School, 1100 Campus Parkway, room 139 from
12:30-1:20.

The other will be at Seattle University School of Law 6-7PM, room 109.

Both trainings will held on Monday November 27.
