[discuss-dan] Yom HaShoah

Yom HaShoah is the holliday set aside to remember the
Holocaust (Ha Shoah in Hebrew). It falls on 20 Apr.
this year. While some of us will be in Quebec on that
date it might be an excellent date for those staying in
Colorado to come up with the tie ins to FTAA/WTO/IMF/,
the  current situation in Israel, and the Holocaust.
For those that do not know Yom HaShoah commemorates the
Warsaw Ghetto uprising. (one of a thousand such
uprisings) Jews with small arms and Molotov coctails
against an elite Wafen SS Panzer unit.
I have always seen this as not just a heritage of
resistance for those of us who grew up seeing people
with the camp tatoos on their arms or even just for
Jews, Rhom or Sinte people. The Warsaw Ghetto is part
of the history of all of us worldwide who choose to say
no to the unjust actions of the state  and the
IMF/WTO/WB super state.
