I don't know about PBS, since I don't watch TV, but as far as I am
concerned, this country would be far better off without NPR.

If you didn't feel this way before the Nader campaign, you should be
convinced by now.

Just one example: For people who don't know the history, the US played a
major role in the genocide in East Timor which began in the 1970's, and
NPR was complicit in this by virtue of its deliberate omission of the
events in E Timor for 2 decades.

NPR's main function is to deflect those who want real news and facts into
the right wing corporate media, of which NPR is the "left cover", the
stealth component.

Without NPR, true public radio could take root and gain a following in
the US.
