Protest NPR in Fort Collins

Tuesday, September 26, 7 pm sharp at the Fort Collins Lincoln Center main
entrance.

(3 blocks west of College Avenue (=US 287) on Mulberry Street (=Colorado
Hwy 14) and 1/2 bock N on Meldrum) (From Denver, take the Hwy 14 exit
West off I 25)

Bob Edwards of NPR will be giving a talk for KUNC in the main hall of the
Lincoln Center at 7:30 pm.

The Poudre Valley Greens are sponsoring a protest against NPR at this
event.

The protest focuses on NPR's dishonest right wing coverage of the news,
including suppression of news of the Nader campaign, suppression for over
10 years of news on the genocide in E Timor; suppression of information
on the Rwanda genocide; suppression of news about the CIA role in the
overthrow of the Allende government in Chile,; right wing bias in
coverage of Nicaragua, Cuba, Latin America in General, the whole world.

The protest is also provoked by NPR's opposition to Low Power FM stations
which could present local and unbiased coverage of human rights and
social justice issues.

Picket signs will be available at the protest --- or bring your own.
