We're trying to put together our lit drop plans and we need people to pledge as many hours as possible for this effort. Nader 2000 has decided to focus on lit drops and is sending us 100,000 pieces of literature to do this.
All we have to do is drop them.
But unlike other campaigns, where we often share the work with kindred campaign teams, in this case, most of our progressive friends won't do it. Some are supportive, but if they work with us, they lose their other partners who are supporting Albert Gore.
This means we are on our own.
While there are many good causes this year, the other campaigns are already sharing efforts. Since we can't, we really need your support and time.
Lit drops only involve leaving the literature at the door - you don't knock on the door to talk to people. We need to do this all over the state, but particularly in the larger cities. This can be done during any daylight hour when residents won't be bothered. Lit drops are a key way to reach people who don't go to rallies or read alternative press. Lit drops will be the final push to get the word out so please help as much as you can.
And sorry if you already got a message about lit drops from another list. We're trying to reach as many people as possible.
Please respond with the number of hours you can pledge between now and election day, and whether you can do an area a little way from your own neighborhood in case someone else signs up for it first.
