Oklahoma was one of only three states where we were unable to vote for Green Party candidates Ralph Nader and Winona LaDuke last Fall.
If you're mad about this, contact your elected representatives to complain about Oklahoma's restrictive and discriminatory ballot access laws:
- Over 40,000 Oklahomans signed petitions to place Nader and LaDuke
on the ballot, but that wasn't enough!
- Oklahoma has the highest signature requirement, per capita, of any
state in the country
- Oklahoma's signature deadline (July 15) is one of the earliest (only
8 states are earlier)
- Oklahoma is one of only 7 states that don't allow write-in votes
for U.S. President
CALL your State Senator and Representative TODAY and demand that these laws be changed!
