Organizing a Local Green Party Organization in Oklahoma

Currently, there are active Green Party organizations in Central Oklahoma (Norman/Oklahoma City), Northern Oklahoma (Stillwater) and in the Tulsa area.  We encourage efforts to build other local organizations throughout the state, which we hope soon to have unified under a state-recognized "Green Party of Oklahoma".

As an aid to those who wish to join the organizational effort currently underway, we have created the following statewide list of committees and organizing teams, including those who can work on a regional basis, or by county (please volunteer for a slot that interests you!) -- Click here.

Following are some ideas and materials to assist you in local organizing activities:

You may wish to create a flyer/brochure to help disseminate general information, and give people a membership form for joining your organization.  Please feel free to download this Wordperfect file (click here) which was used to produce our brochure, to use as a template (note:  the brochure includes a membership form).

Click here for some additional flyers (Adobe Acrobat PDF format) to print and distribute.

If you would like to print and distribute copies of the Central Oklahoma Greens brochure, click here for an Adobe Acrobat PDF version (or if you have Acrobat Reader 4.0, click here for a higher-quality PDF version).
