Basically, I want better government and I think you do too. I
don't
expect
I'll
be
the
next representative, but I hope my candidacy
will drum up enough support to send a message to our legislators, give
people a chance to vote for a noncorporate candidate and inspire others
to run in the future.
I am running an all volunteer campaign. No money from corporations or pac funds Sincerely,

The requirement was 67,070 signatures for independent and third party candidates, but only 2,000 for the two major parties. Carl Romanelli collected 99,000 signatures! More than anyone in history. Carl hired some paid signature gatherers to collect some of his signatures. He also hired homeless people to give them some work. Needless to say some of those signatures were found to be invalid. If the republicans and democrats had to collect 67,000 signatures theirs would also have some invalid signatures. After six weeks of counting the signatures a pa supreme court judge said, Carl you don't have enough valid signatures you can't be on the ballot. Carl never got to submit his signatures in court.
There
are two ways to destroy democracy. The
other is by preventing worthy candidates **************** Dorothy
Schieber was our first
Candidate in Montgomery
County.
In November 2004 She ran for Representative in the 6th Congressional District Dorothy Schieber wanted to run for office as a Green. The Montgomery County Democrats spent 50,000.00 challenging her signatures in court to have her taken off the ballot. ![]() Dorothy Schieber Society is like a stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you get a lot of scum on top. |
