In October 1998, several of us attended a demonstration calling for the regulation and labeling of genetically engineered foods. GeneAlert is a related offshoot dedicated to the opposition of genetic engineering.

April 17 through 30 1999: Global Days of Action against genetic engineering. Local Greens and activists plan to leaflet and collect signatures calling for the regulation and labeling of G.E. (genetically engineered) foods. Updates will be posted. If interested, e-mail us.
