During Headwaters Forest demonstrations in northern California police applied pepper spray to the eyes of activists who chained themselves together during office occupations. This Green Time show is not recommended for small children, since it includes scenes of police torture from "FIRE IN THE EYES," the startling documentary of the Headwaters Action Video Collective. Host Don Fitz, Zaki Baruti, of the Universal African Peoples Organization, and Jamala Rogers, of the Organization for Black Struggle, discuss police violence in the St. Louis area. They ask if there is a systematic increase in police brutality against environmentalists and communities of color across the US.

Green Time is showing portions of FIRE IN THE EYES courtesy of the Headwaters Action Video Collective.
