Sometimes you need to mail the text of an online newspaper article,
on 9-11 events.
and the result is here.
I used vim to delete the lines I didn't want and add a line attributing
the source of the article.
DO NOT use your Web browser's "File -> send page" function. It's rude as hell.
Instead, mail a URL or extract the text and mail that.
Especially if you're sending to a mailing list.
We have a great text-oriented Web browser here on Petra-k.
It has a feature to render a Web page in a form that's friendly
for email and Usenet posting.
I got a shell and typed the commands
I could mail it to my buddy like this:
